Innovative idea ruined by lack of creativity and levels where you have to guess instead of using logic. Save your money. I'll start with the bad stuff. There are several (I don't actually know how many because I didn't bother to complete the entire game) levels where there is no logical way to start, you have to guess. How can they call that a nonogram/picross puzzle if you have to guess? You can't get all the achievements. The developer never completed the game. The last size of levels just says "coming september something". Comments on the discussion board say it's been long time and no response from the developer. The game has been abandoned. Completed pictures are just geometric shapes: triangles, circles, etc. That gets boring. There are many different size puzzles to do but they are just bigger images than the smaller ones. I've never played a nonogram/picross game where the image is not an object or living thing of some kind: animals, flowers, people, telephones, etc. That's part of the fun of the puzzle, seeing what the finished image is. To just see more triangles in a different arrangement is disappointing and discouraging. One final negative: there is…11 found this helpful
The game is incomplete, the 11x11x11 levels are still missing 2 years after the release, and some achievements are unachievable.4 found this helpful
Bought this when it was still being updated, levels are sometimes just guessing and very similar. Game has not been updated in a very long time and can be frustrating. the abandoned state means game can't even be 100% in a legit manner.1 found this helpful
The puzzles are all solvable with logic, but a few of them require some trial and error to solve. I have seen lots of people complain about this but I don't really have a problem with it. What I do have a problem with is how symmetrical most of the puzzles are. This can be fun for a few but when about 80% of the puzzles are symmetrical or mostly symmetrical it gets boring to solve an look at. The game is incomplete and seemingly abandoned so that isn't great. But uhhhh, a buck is a buck. There are 4 achievements that are not possible to get. It doesn't really matter though because I don't think this game's achievements count towards your Steam profile anyways... If you think you want to give this a try I say go for it, but just know that there are way better games like this out there.
Its, mostly worth the buck i paid. Sadly the game is that big or polished. Id love the complete the 11x11x11 or see the matching archivements removed. The game could be awsome with 10-15 11x11x11 levels or workshop support. I still like what i got :)
There's not much to say: it's a Hex Picross. The game is what it is, nothing to add to it... The UI is nice tho and the game runs smoothly. This game is cheap as dirt, just get it if you're a fan of the genre.
