About Hexagon World

Hexagon World is a God simulation game where you control the world.
In this game you can feel like God and peacefully observe how civilization grows, wars go on and the landscape changes, BUT.
You can domineeringly control the weather and various elements, at your discretion, in order to ruin the life of cities or, perhaps, improve it. You can catch freezing temperatures on hot countries, or, on the contrary, flood the whole world and cover it with grass and mountains again, so that cities will revive from the ashes, which you can also arrange for them by stumbling into volcanoes. In general, only you know how you will deal with the power that is given to you in Hexagon World.

Hexagon World is yet another construction kit template copy+paste from serial shovelware pushers, Piece Of Voxel. These guys (or just one guy flipping accounts to mislead gamers) do nothing but copy premade game templates and game tutorials, fill out a few things/stamp out basic levels using the construction kit templates, slap on an asset flipped set of sprites/assets, and dump them on Steam and into DailyIndieGame bundles as cash grabs. Trying to get paid for someone else's game templates, assets... at best, this is shovelware, at worst, it's a scam/cash grab. Todays Russian shovelware is barely a game, there's no actual gameplay loop. It's just a sandbox where you're presented with a procedurally generated 2D retro pixel "world map" that you can interact with by making it hotter, colder, or dropping bombs on... it's really shallow, and really garbage. Piece Of Voxel have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Terrible god game where you can do basically nothing. There is no point to this at all, its legitimately offensively bad and the developers should honestly be banned from Steam for ever thinking of charging 8,19€ for it. Works fine on Linux with Proton (9.0-4).

game shows promise but in its current state i wouldn't recommend it, at its price of 10 dollars i would not purchase it if more was added and it was polished a bit more then my review will change

This game shows promise but currently has minimal play-ability. It would be best suited as a manual world builder where the user can design their own worlds on the hex-based map. However, the game randomly generates a map and there are only functions to destroy, add ocean, or add desert land types. I really want to like this game and I would very much enjoy it as a map-making tool but, until that time comes... I cannot in good faith give it a thumbs-up. Perhaps the designers can put a little more work into this an improve it, if that ever occurs then I can possibly change my mind.

A simple, hexagonal chillout background with several possibilities. "+" in support.
