BUYER BE WARNED, THIS IS Abandonware - last update was April 2023!!!!! It looked interesting, and while I appreciate the developer's work on mods for Satisfactory, they have apparently decide to just quit working on this game, while they still regularly update their satisfactory mods.... super douche move to continue to claim this tile is 'early access' when there hasn't been a single update in well over a year and a half. I refunded as the game is quite obviously not complete and apparently never will be.23 found this helpful
Hexfactory is a an Early Access/Development Hell attempt to make a "factory" city builder game, except it's terrible and lacks most of the elements you would expect for a "Factory" game... There's no conveyor belts or planning for how to get resources A, B and C to the respective factories that need them... it's just a matter of bashing down buildings and grinding along. The concept has promise, this implementation has absolutely none. It's trashware. The game has been in Early Access since 2023 and while it got a shallow, mostly empty update almost 3 months ago, it's deep in Development Hell. There's no reasonable expectation that this will ever be completed. Whether the developer lacks the time, funds, or skill/talent required to complete a video game isn't really something gamers should be expected to accept as an excuse. The game has some mediocre 3D low poly graphics that make this look like something from the mid 2000's. It would have done better with better graphics, but the poor visuals count as a defect here. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number w…20 found this helpful
In urgent need of refactoring to use less GPU resources. It's difficult getting into the swing of building when my RTX 2080 has to rev the fans this hard to render a game that looks like it could run on a Sega Dreamcast. Even with the frame rate turned down, it's insanely greedy.12 found this helpful
Although I love the developer for his contributions to Satisfactory, it is a shame this game is unfinished, near unplayable and abandoned :(.9 found this helpful
Wow, this game is kinda cool for sure, I dig it, I only am in Tier 2 now :-)3 found this helpful
Finished the game into the experimental phase. I can see it doesn't have development anymore. Really fun concept and if ever picked up again in the future, probably great.
