A cozy HOG that's fun to play in the summer or at any other time. ^^

Introduction
Hidden Things Beach Elves is a free-to-play, cozy, hidden object game developed and published by Galysh Company. You're on a beautiful sunny beach, and you have to find numerous elves, along with other items that are unlocked after you unlock a certain number of elves. The game can be customized to your liking, such as choosing between full screen or windowed mode (and you can choose your screen resolution) and having the option of a timer. The hint option, in the form of a magnifying glass, is present and if used, a bit of time needs to elapse before it can be used again. Plenty of Steam achievements are present, but they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "profile features limited".
Review
It has been a while since I last played a HOG, so I figured it was time to get around to one. XD Also, as I haven't played any of Galysh Company's games before this one, I thought I'd give this a try, and it doesn't hurt that it's free-to-play.
Gameplay
The gameplay is fairly straightforward. You have just one scene in which to …15 found this helpful
This is one of those games that will brighten your mood, especially if you have had a rough day (or night). The music itself is very peaceful and calming that it could put you to sleep, even if you don't have any cushion around. I love how the images you find glow, making them pop out more in contrast to being softly colourful. You also get a lot of nostalgia if you are a person who consumed a lot of Disney products or you're just a fan of fairy tales. This game is literally made for you if you fall under these categories. Lastly, it's super easy to complete. All you have to do is sit down, relax and enjoy this experience of this cozy game about finding elves, making your day better, no doubt.4 found this helpful
Unique hidden object game with relaxing music. It's free! Honestly, it's much better than many other hidden object games I've even paid for! The map is big! You have to find 130 objects and some you unlock for finding only after x is found. Really liked how found objects colorized and illuminated. Time to 100%: 20 minutes.2 found this helpful
Really nicely done hidden object game. I like the feature of the additional things to find as you find more of each succeeding search item. And it's beautifully presented. Recommend.
I think this is one of the better hidden object games avaible on steam. The drawing you're parsing through itself is so unique and had many references to pop culture including fairytales, disney, and LOTR, making everything feel like an intentionally thought out idea. It most capures the feeling of having those hidden object colouring sheets and parsing through them to colour all the X objects before doing the entire sheet. After playing this, I'm seriously considering buying from this developper in the future.
very satisfying game for being free.
