You are a high school student in the late 90s of China, and live in a big campus full of different girls and guys. Build up your character, try and get a date, try to get a girlfriend within 150 days!
High School Odyssey has a remarkably open design. Other than a few story elements, you are free to do what you want. The centerpiece of the game is the relationships that you can form with 23 characters. You need to slowly build their relationships through a variety of activities, including talking, dating, traveling, and other interesting things.

You can have 9 girlfriends at the same time if you want. - Gang System
Join a campus club or join the Mafia to be a gangster and dominate the campus. (Different choices of good and evil will lead to different game results.) - Battle System
You can beat up anyone in the game, but of course it is not recommended to punch your little girlfriend. - Campus System
If you don't do well on the exams, you'll be punished. If you get into too many fights, you'll also be expelled.

[h1]TL;DR[/h1] 10/10: Imagine [i]True Love[/i] but with mini-games, fighting, lighter visual novel elements, and no hentai. [h1]Overview[/h1] What's so special about 1997, anyway? That's for the player to find out in [i]High School Odyssey[/i], in which the main character goes back in time to 1997 due to an eclipse and visits his former self who's in school. But doing what? Maybe being a good student, maybe being a bad boy, but given how [i]High School Odyssey[/i] is primarily a date sim, you better believe the main character is meeting girls. Like any dating sim, money is an issue, so the player will need to be earning to buy gifts for the girls or buy stuff for themselves to up their stats. [h1]Graphics and Sound[/h1] The graphics are on the simple side with backgrounds looking like RL places with a filter applied. It would be a great game if it worked. Game constantly crashes at a certain point when you reach a point where it seems like you can actually romance a character. Would be great but again, crashes at the same spot every single time without fail. If they fixed the issue would be great.
It's fun with the story and action elements and would be a decent game if not for the common crashes. I was only in 30 minutes when it crashed again. And then again another 10 minutes later. I just started playing after a fresh boot.
The game play and story are good enough. But the game glitches like no tommorow.
