This, for many years, was my favorite helicopter sims. I love it so much. I have purchased this five times now. The original version, the GOG version, the Zoom Platform version, the Sold Out 3DFX version, and now this version. While the game runs fine, it saddens me to relay that this is the original 1996 DOS version of the game, not the updated version sold with the Front Line Fighters pack and Sold Out releases. This is not necessarily a BAD thing, I just wish the stewards of these older games would release them with the proper respect they deserve. So, while I'm giving this a thumbs up, it's a tentative one. I'm hoping the folks at MicroProse will treat this game with the reverence it deserves and update it to the latest version. As per previous review, this remains a fantastic sim to this day but there are issues with this release and I would like to see some quality of life improvements as follows: 1) This is the original, unpatched version of the game - It would be great to have the patched or even 3dfx version (Hind 1998) made available as they each provided significant improvements to the base game 2) Sound quality is not great - I am experiencing a lot of clipping in the voice overs / music 3) Cannot get joystick(s) to work - so currently this is keyboard only Hoping these can be rectified and we can experience Hind as it was intended!30 found this helpful
Right after the first installation it ran. The next day it crashes every time I try to load the first training mission. How can such a poor product be allowed to ship by anyone at Steam or Microprose??5 found this helpful

Used to play this a lot as a kid, "ENEMY GROUND FINE, TRIPLE A RADAR WARNING" lives in my head rent free.:) <31 found this helpful
