Heliborne Collection

Heliborne is the rare helicopter game that remembers missiles do not capture territory. Attack helicopters erase armour. Scouts find targets. Transports land under fire and unload infantry, MANPADS, and mortars so the frontline actually moves. The flight model sits between arcade and simulation: enough weight to respect momentum, enough forgiveness to survive learning it. Then the Collection launcher asks whether you want Heliborne or Enhanced Edition. Choose the original. The maps repeat, the presentation has aged, and public multiplayer now has more helicopters than pilots. But solo and co-op still preserve something almost no other game offers. The rockets clear the hill. The troops make it yours.

its still good game btw, hi developer can u still update this game. i love it so much, can we have u heli or update model heli like mh-60m,ah-6,mh-6,etc from 160th SOAR. n heli from other country

The game is good. however, it is really only worth around 10$ for me. i refunded because the friend who gifted it, asked me to, but ill rebuy when i can. IF they allow mods, i think this game shines but in its current state, there is flaws. The game doesn't give you all the info about the tasks it gives you. I went to go drop off recon troops, but it failed to to tell me the landing zone was full of AA and i assumed it wanted me to only bring the MH-60L and there was barely enough time to fly back to get a heli capable of hitting the aa but it was a very short time. not bad. but not the greatest. but decent for 10$ max

the game doesnt have an active online community to play with anymore, and single player has no enemy helicopters, but even with those limitations it is an incredible joy to play. i highly recommend it on sale, it has more than enough meat on the bone even without AI helos for the sale price, though not for 30 bucks. i wish i had been there when it was active, and i wish it had kept being developed because its a unique, interesting, absolute joy of a game to play, and i wouldve loved to see it developed more. i do echo the concerns what will happen when the servers shut down, theres no offline progression at the moment and a lot of the fun comes from working your way up the tree, unlocking new loadouts and camos etc. i hope when the time comes the devs will be allowed to fix it up to be fully playable offline.
