Love it! Glad to see that Hobby Horsing is becoming more popular compared to abusing animals. And the game will hopefully help a lot with that! It's really well made and a lot of fun 🥰 and I only played a little but it got quite difficult fast :D It looks great too!

Saw this at a speedrun event and I was not disappointed when I tried it myself.

I usually am not into racing games let alone something this niche like hobby horsing but there's something fun and charming about the game that I really enjoy. It's cool to get a little introductory chapter as to what the full game will be like, getting to customize your horse and learn how to time your jumps and navigate obstacles. The graphics are fun and colorful and the game is legitimately challenging and can be enjoyable and frustrating to try to beat the harder times on the tracks. I think there's an excellent framework for a fun game here the only thing I'd say is it feels the controls need a tweak and should be slightly more sensitive/reactive, I couldn't help but feel like the sluggishness of navigating was more often the cause of my failure than my actual skill level. Still overall a cool experience and absolutely worth checking this strange racing niche out.

Controls feel intuitive in that very special way where you’re never fully sure if you’re doing it right, but it somehow still counts as success. That’s talent. Jumping mechanics deserve praise. There’s a beautiful unpredictability to every leap, as if physics itself is watching and quietly saying, “let’s see what happens.” And honestly? It works. The competitive atmosphere is intense in the most polite way possible. You can almost feel the pressure of top-tier performance, surrounded by equally serious athletes all committed to the same noble cause: stick-based excellence. Customization is another highlight.
