Holiday Mosaics Halloween Puzzles is a basic browser/Flash/mobile-app like jigsaw puzzle game. Solve various jigsaw puzzles made up from images that the "developer" stole off the Internet and used without crediting the actual creators, making this plagiarism, as well as an asset flip and a cash grab. Sure, the image rights may allow the stock image to be used without credit, but claiming credit for the work of others, as is happening here, is unethical. This game features a bunch of artwork stolen off the internet, there's no real game development or creation here, it's just other people's work assembled badly. The other images in use here are also stolen and used without crediting the copyright holder. The icing on the cake is the "developer" here has copy + pasted + reskinned this same asset onto Steam [i]a lot[/i]. The developer, Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this game an insane SEVENTY SIX TIMES onto Steam with minor reskins... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple…

Full disclosure: I got this on sale for .49 cents USD. And this has to be one of the absolute best titles I've seen this studio produce, well done! Firstly, the music is amazing and original to me at least. The photos seem all new, and the mosaics work just like jigsaws, only they look like a maniac cut up each photo. Sometimes carefully, sometimes wildly. There's still the three key system of other mosaic titles, but it seems a lot more fair this time. You can turn off the timer, so that gives you one key guaranteed if you complete the puzzle. There's a second one for no mistakes and I believe the third is based on completing the puzzle. You can still use hints to try and avoid mistakes, and the next level unlocks about half way through the previous, (provided you've been earning all three keys per puzzle) so you can skip around if you get bored. I already have the master level unlocked, and I'm still moseying through apprentice. So, beautiful music, lovely on theme (mostly) Halloween puzzles, and an ability to turn off the timer. Not the worst game ever, but. Might apply to every photo-based packs by the dev. Does NOT apply to art-based packs by the dev. While the pictures are cool, this is the biggest Grind-to-Win of them all. It's the middle of the P2W spectrum: you get the currency from just playing, but you can't win without. World 5 is generally requires several "extra time" purchases, conveying the message: you failed. No, it's a 6 minute level timed as 3, so that gold has some use beyond a cumulative score stat. Sure, achievements are only internal, so there is little point in obsessing to score them. Late levels also tend to suffer from good-old "disconnected tile" syndrome, while some might connect by a single pixel somewhere, it's often not possible to progress without the location hint. Yup, there is an achievement for 150 location hints. Apparently the dev finished churning packs (separate games), anyway, I'd recommend to look at other, better packs. Some of them are quite nice.

Extremely beautiful and a definite yes I do recommend this mosaic.. Some were difficult but none the less enjoyable.. And something I like, the relax mode and you still get your trophies too. I love the fact that the artist used real faces, this means a lot to me..
