About HOSPICE Vol. 1

٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ♡ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ Next Stop, Happy Life!
Deli truly believes that life is a merry-go-round.
When we get married, we're going to ride on the bus that we call life.
Living like there's no tomorrow.⠀
- But there is NO tomorrow.
- And life is a lie.
- And ride we're looking for going down the road.
But no one can stop the time. Nobody can stop the bus.
We're just waiting, we're sitting.
- Why? Because, we're not going - we're lea-living.

٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ♡ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ Dead End Club
Ends up here... Here is the place for everyone.
Place for misfortune, shame and regret.
And the club's authority is asking you to take your sit at the table.
Hospice is the play of light and shadows.
Now is your time to turn the tables. Now is your time to turn on the light.
DEVI:
- No, isn't yours, silly. It's mine.
- Your time will be next time.
AKI:
- Was it the last time?
And if you thought that these inner demons were your biggest issue.
Outside is MUCH many demons.

٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ♡ﮩ٨ـﮩﮩ٨ـ My Little Sister Can't Be

Hospice Vol 1 is a visual novel that caused me to ponder greatly over my experience. To ponder… what on Earth did I just waste my time on?! Truthfully, I have almost no understanding on what this game is, or what it is trying to portray. I managed to finish it, but it was painful. Cons

English translation makes no sense.
Blinding white background is painful
Text continues automatically and skips large sections
Story is …. confusing
No settings and escape automatically exits the game

Story
Hospice Vol 1 is a visual novel. Visual novels are made to tell stories, and are a great medium to do so… but not in this game. I did finish it, but as stated earlier, I do not feel I gained any grasp on what it was trying to portray. I *think* you play as a young boy who is writing a novel about his sister who may or may not have died. There are multiple characters which I am unsure if they are hypothetical or real characters. They all are in a facility for either the mentally ill or terminally ill.. (it quite literally says both terms, I do not know which one is correct). I believe it goes through each of…35 found this helpful
This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements. Minor spoilers ahead. Description: HOSPICE Vol. 1 is a short pixel art anime visual novel that, as the name suggests, takes place in a mental institution. The story is mostly about the two main characters, where one is the abuser and the other a punching bag, but it kept me engaged as I wanted to know how it ended. The story seems to be a bit vague and confusing and often I wasn’t sure about what were real memories and what were delusions. The graphics are made with pixel art with anime style characters, which is a weird combination. As someone mentioned, there are a lot of mostly white screens and also darker ones, and these are often used to represent the current “mood” of the story. There isn’t any kind of interaction or dialog choices to make, you simply have to read and click to get to the next paragraph. No multiple endings either. Achievements: How many: 7 Achievements. How much time: Less than 1 hour. Game difficulty: Very Easy, it’s a visual novel with no interactivity. Achievements’ Difficulty: Very Easy, all story related and unmissable. …3 found this helpful
