Good HOG. Tries to do a few things a bit differently - they don't all work, but most do.
i found this super enjoyable, just wish there was more of the "find objects in a picture" minigame lol
Nowhere near as good as the previous House of a 1000 Doors games. Exceedingly fanciful and and I lost whatever plot there was very quickly. Emily is described as a young woman - but her little voice sounds like that of a child. I took the voiceover sounds down to minimum.

It is nowhere near as good as the previous three games.
This one sucked - without a doubt the worst game in the 1000 Doors series. Graphics were mediocre, challenges were not that interesting, and overall the game was boring. It was much shorter than the other games, and I was still wishing it was over the majority of my play through. The voice acting was bad, the graphics were bad, and the plot is bad. The deviation from the original character's design is disappointing, and the addition of a new character (Emily) who is completely bland and uninteresting with "special powers to save the world" is worse. I would've loved a game just expanding more on the Lancaster family and exploring the rest of the house. The charm of the previous games are the fact that the main character does not have special abilities to rely on, they complete the challenges through cleverness. This game sucked the life and intrigue out of literally every single character in it. Horribly disappointing, will definitely not be replaying like I do with the others. The previous games are charming, regardless of their dated mechanics and graphics - those are easily forgivable due to the beauty and real fun the puzzles offer.
