I would recommend getting it on sale.1 found this helpful
good game but very little content. not worth the $10 it is. although if there was an update or a sequal i would spend to get that. overall, fairly high quality, too high of a price, alright 18+ content.
House of Lust is a deliberately provocative indie title that blends erotic fantasy with light survival-horror sensibilities, creating an experience that is as much about atmosphere and temptation as it is about exploration and puzzle solving. Developed by FrozenLettuce and published by Shady Corner Games, the game makes no attempt to disguise its adult focus. Instead, it fully embraces its identity as a mature experience, using explicit themes and stylized pixel art to set itself apart from more conventional horror or adventure games on Steam. The premise places the player inside a strange, isolated mansion inhabited by alluring yet dangerous supernatural beings. At a glance, the setting echoes classic survival horror structures: a confined environment, interconnected rooms, locked doors, and the need to carefully explore while piecing together how to progress. However, House of Lust quickly subverts expectations by tying its core tension not just to fear, but to desire. The mansion is not merely hostile; it is seductive, and the game’s mechanics reinforce the idea that giving in to temptation can weaken the player and increase vulnerability. A nice short pixel art eroge with horror leanings. It can be a bit of a pain in the ass to get running, but it eventually did, and it was a fun time. Almost all of the erotic content is breast focused, ranging from silly large but still anime erotic, to kind absurd and impractical meat bags to just literal giantess ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. While on the short side, this is a great buy for a half off sale, though the quality of the pixel art definitely adds a lot of value (and the fact it has an unlock all acts button in the gallery. Praise be to the developer for including that, as too many eroge I've tried lately want you to constantly replay in the hopes of getting what you missed, instead of respecting my time and just letting me unlock all once I've beat it.)
Review: House of Lust – A Retro Pixel Horror with Dark Humor House of Lust is an indie PC horror game that channels the eerie charm of ‘90s classics like Resident Evil and Clock Tower, wrapped in a pixel-art aesthetic. You play as a lost wanderer trapped in a mysterious mansion where every hallway hides danger—or clues to survive. The gameplay mixes exploration, puzzle-solving, and tense chases, complete with old-school save rooms and stamina management. Every decision matters, making survival both challenging and rewarding. Visually, the game’s retro pixel art and hand-drawn animations evoke the golden age of survival horror, while the minimal sound design heightens the sense of isolation and dread. Beneath its tongue-in-cheek title lies a surprisingly polished and atmospheric indie horror experience—a short, intense, and clever homage to the classics that proves nostalgia can still deliver genuine chills.
Besides some bugs this game is very short and sweet with great animations. I would recommend buying this game on a sell if you're hesitant to experience it yourself.
