Christopher is tormented by visions of a sinister land full of lechery and pain. To learn its secrets, he joins the Cult of Ecstasy, whose members seem to know the answers to his disturbing questions.
Christopher learns the cult's life from within, getting lost in its blasphemous and sexual customs. Pleasures of this world are soon not enough. The cultists, following Christopher's visions, attempt to enter Lusst'ghaa - the Land of Ecstasy beyond the borders of our reality.

Lust from Beyond: Prologue is a horror adventure game, which continues the story from Lust for Darkness. It serves as a standalone short story introduction to full version of Lust from Beyond. Though if you have played Lust for Darkness, it's a direct continuation of the story started there. A new protagonist ends up in the clutches of the Cult of Ecstasy, simple Christopher, lured in by the cult for his ability as a Seeing. Christopher is tormented by visions of a sinister world full of lechery and pain. To learn its secrets, he joins up with the Cult of Ecstasy, though they've known about him for quite some time and lures him in with the alluring bosom of one of the members of the cult. The Cult of Ecstasy is now led by Sabinian, one of the cultists from Lust for Darkness as he continues searching for the means to gain access to the world of Lusst'ghaa. Where they seek eternal pleasure. Gameplay wise it continues the Gigeresque otherworldly landscapes seen in Lust for Darkness and mechanically it adds a few more bits, such as Health and Sanity meters. “Waste of time. There is no motivation to create or play this kind of game. Slow movement, terrible controls, and confusing gameplay. You never know what starts where or why. Who is who? What is the story? Where did the cult even come from? The game explains almost nothing and just throws random events at the player.”
