[h1]6/10. Pretty yet painfully average roguelite with a coat of mecha.[/h1] HSS does not introduce any real innovation into the genre. The permanent meta-progression was not well thought out with some upgrades that cannot even be installed when reaching max endgame currency, which speaks to the lack of testing, attention to detail, and game design. It's also exceedingly grindgy to max out the mechs for achievements like many other roguelites. Don't do it.1 found this helpful
Lacking sound, music, charm and soul. this is a very by the books survivor-like that doesn't have any secondary objectives, fun effects nor something that makes it stand out from others of it's same class. it feels like a proof of concept rather then a finished game.1 found this helpful
