Hungry for Applez is an extremely simple clicker game, but I found the collecting loop surprisingly satisfying for short sessions. The whole idea is about clicking apples, collecting different varieties and trading them upward into better ones. It is not trying to be a complicated simulation, and I actually liked that the game gets straight to the collecting without making me learn a huge collection of systems. The main mechanic is straightforward. I click to collect apples, keep building up my inventory and then trade or exchange them to unlock higher tier varieties. I liked the little sense of progression that comes from turning basic items into rarer ones. There is something naturally satisfying about seeing an ordinary apple become part of a much more valuable collection. The trading system adds another layer because I can exchange apples with other players. I enjoyed having that option because it gives the collecting a purpose beyond simply filling an inventory. Rare apples become something worth looking for, while duplicates can potentially help me progress toward something better. Game leaves you unable to finish achievements. No longer can to get the Summer 2025 Apple achievements and even thought the game allows you to look at the first season (Summer) you're not able to pick which apples from which season you're going for. Game forces you to have to buy from the Marketplace to finish. Understandable that the the new season resets your progress, but now the game is resetting my progress to LV 1 every time I sign into the game for the new season. Game is broken and not worth the time.
