About I Am Overburdened
I Am Overburdened is a silly roguelike with a fun twist to the tried and true classical formula. The player takes the role of an artifact hunter, who has a surprisingly large carrying capacity, embarking on a quest to search through dungeon after dungeon for mystical artifacts and answers, in a world where magic has long been forgotten...

What is this 20 slots, 100+ unique artifacts RPG nonsense?
Simple, your "hero" does not get more powerful magically by beating some orcs to death and he is not a wizard either. In the world of I Am Overburdened the art of magic-wielding was lost, but legendary artifacts and relics retained their power. If you equip these you become stronger, sometimes immeasurably, and you may even learn reactive skills and otherworldly abilities, but no sane person wears two pants...

- Run focused campaign, playable in short bursts.

- Fill a huge inventory having 20 slots.
- Find more than 100 crazy artifacts, all of them unique.

- Crawl in procedural dungeons generated from hand authored layouts.
- Immortalize your best playthroughs in the "Hall of Fame".

- Collect details about monsters and artifacts in your journal.
- Unfold a funny story, packed with vicious evils, puns, and jokes.

Even on sale it's pretty ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm shocked I got so much time out of it at all for how shallow it is. You're better off with the free version of Desktop Dungeons or anything else from this genre really.
perfect coffee break roguelike
Unbalance and hard to see if items actually work
It is now 2025 and the creator of the game mentioned that he was working on a save progress in 2018 and I'm wondering if the creator died or just has ADHD and moved on to another project.
Great game
It's a roguelike so of course it will be relying on RNG, but the case of the case, the RNG is both frustrating and uninteresting. It's not so interesting to die to no fault of your own because you had a critical miss a few times in a row, and getting no good items early. Nor is it interesting to start off with good equipment and being able to snowball into a regenerating one-shotting machine. There is very few meaningfull choices that you can have any impact into the game. People have described it as a slot machine, it is very accurate. It might be for you if you like games where you can feel lucky (or unlucky), but then there are so many other roguelikes that have this luck after too! If Slay the Spire or FTL are too "intense", and you want something more chill, then there's plenty of good auto-battler where you can feel the luck without all the tedium, but this game has a few. The walking speed is a bit slow, and the music is not it's strong point. I reached the ending on normal mode after 1hour of trying. I felt like it was on no part of my own, and all about the RNG the game ended me. I have no intention in trying my luck again in higher difficulty. I know I can do it (if I …
