Descend into an endless loot-filled tower where you battle twisted creatures and build godlike power by strategically combining over 150 unique items across 27+ stats to create devastating synergies. Master complex builds, manage your inventory tactically, and push through escalating challenges with ten distinct characters, each offering fresh approaches to conquering the tower's depths.
Entering the tower, you find yourself in fierce battles that require valuable loot items - armor, magic rings, weapons, and much more. These are essential tools for developing your unique builds while clearing the tower's floors.
Defeat enemies and earn gold, which can be spent on new loot items. The game keeps everything obscure just for the sake of it being obscure. Nothing is explained well, enemy intentions are only known if you mouse over them, rarity means nothing, numbers go into ridiculous fast ... it is just not for me4 found this helpful
I haven't played in a while, but came back to check it out and I'm honestly extremely disappointed with how different the game is. I'll try to summarize this as painlessly as possible: - Multiplayer got added, yay! But now you have to start a lobby to play single-player, huh? - The clarity of various effects has seen no improvement despite having very nice tooltips. This is worsened the further you get in a run. - There /was/ a system to alter your run - you could pick some extra damage, wisdom, etc. for your character - that has now been removed entirely. - Some characters still feel incredibly useless, so it doesn't feel like balancing has really been a focus for the game. It makes me question why so much has changed if not to make the game more balanced and enjoyable? Overall, I think this game was great, I loved the concept and the artwork. I don't think that the devs had the concept fully fleshed out, so they played with it, and they played too much. It has killed my enjoyment of the game and I cannot recommend purchasing it in it's current state.2 found this helpful
This game makes no sense. You start multi hitting but have no idea why, some time your life goes to a 1m others it says at 15k, same thing for armor. Passives and abilities are clunky and not fun. Multiplayer desyncs all the time you end up fitting completely different enemies. There is no skill tree that I have been able to find, no clue where it would hide since there are like 3 buttons on the main menu.1 found this helpful
Was a great game but be warned. After a while, the game will no longer launch and there's nothing that can be done to remedy it. The developers will tell you "use the test branch". Not an acceptable fix from Feb 2026 on. Game is mixed because it's broken. Fix it.1 found this helpful
A wonderful inventory management rougelite that gets you to think about your build, your decisions, the enemies you choose to fight, each time you enter to dungeon. Each time you fall down, you want to get right back up and start a new run hoping this time you will reach floor 100.1 found this helpful
Game gets a lot of hate ever since design updates were made. I do agree the original was really good and that ignoring players who love the game may not be the best design decisions as you see mixed reviews and clear off-putting comments. I also put it down for awhile myself. Picking it back up again, I was able to make it to level 100+ with Tyr in the current state of the game after forgetting how to play because of all of the changes (0.4% achievement btw). I found it fun to figure things out and I do think the game has merit and is fun to play as it scratches an itch for me not found in other games. You can also revert back to the earlier versions - the dev added that functionality yet people still complain. I do think it's worth trying if you like this genre. I'll likely continue to play it. I do think it had better synergies before and some of those are broken in the current version or just not as bearable to play, but its still worth exploring. I like a good challenge.1 found this helpful
