Idle DeepMiner

not much to say about this one , simple idle grinder , like the other thousands out there . Nice progression , not so slow not to fast , just not enough . 100% in not even 3 hours for 5€ nice lil time waster you run on the side , don expect anything new tho .

Love the game. I wish there were pickaxe upgrades. ADDITIONAL NOTE: I asked my fridge to run this game and it said yes.

And besides your usual "numbers go up" incremental progress, new flashy ways to dig are introduced along the way. + Artifacts ant talents are not insanely creative, but it's a nice addition to the usual upgrade tree. + UI is pretty intuitive, especially for the desktop part (moving the game around your desktop and pinning/unpinning it). + There is an actual end, which is great and unusual for a "desktop" game. - Lack of synergies. Despite the huge skill tree, the artifacts and the talents, it never feels like your upgrades are meaningful because they don't really interact with each other. ***I introduced a miner to heavy metal. Simple, quick, lots of upgrades

Deep mines – shallow gameplay. A quick warning: the game is essentially finished after about 4 hours. You can continue playing and buying upgrades afterward, but by then you've seen almost everything it has to offer. Pros: + Frequent upgrades with very little downtime, so the progression always feels active. + The skill tree clearly highlights which upgrades are currently available. + Controlling the pickaxe with your mouse adds a small but enjoyable active gameplay element. + Several progression systems, including artifacts, skills, and additional abilities. Cons: - Since the game is only playable in portrait mode, navigating the skill tree and finding upgrades can be more frustrating than it needs to be. - The game is simply too short. After around 4 hours, there's very little left to discover. Overall: Idle DeepMiner is fun while it lasts. It's a short, self-contained experience that you can easily finish in one or two sessions without getting bored. However, at around €5, I don't think the amount of content justifies the price.

Relatively simple and short idle game, but I enjoyed it. The skill tree is a little wonky because the location of the different skills feels very random, but progression is constant and the game has a definite ending. Might be too short for some people but it was about 4 hours of semi-idle fun.
