I randomly remembered this game today that I used to play on my phone years ago. I was surprised to see that it's on Steam (and free)! I am playing it on a Steam Deck and it works great! My two gripes with this version are that the music (that slaps!) seems to cut off eventually when your dig enters a new level and that there are no achievements for this version (there are 5 on mobile). But otherwise, the game is still as fun as I remember it and it still has that "one more run" addicting quality to it. Definitely recommended!2 found this helpful
That high pitch sound effect in the menu is absolutely terribly pitched. Like nails on a chalkboard. What were you thinking, dev? Other than that, cool little free arcade style game.1 found this helpful

Процесс копания, строительство шахт и защита от монстров затягивает с головой. Графика простая, но приятная, а геймплей интуитивно понятен, что делает игру доступной для новичков. Особенностью игры является баланс между экономикой и защитой. Необходимо эффективно распределять ресурсы, строить оборонительные сооружения и обучать гномов, чтобы они могли добывать полезные ископаемые и отбиваться от атак подземных обитателей. Несмотря на свою простоту, 'Dig Deep' предлагает достаточно глубокий и разнообразный геймплей, который способен заинтересовать на долгие часы. Рекомендую всем любителям стратегий в реальном времени и игр про строительство и управление ресурсами. Единственный минус - иногда игра может показаться немного однообразной после нескольких часов, но это компенсируется разнообразием карт и возможностью улучшать навыки гномов.
