Inferno - Beyond The 7th Circle is an old-school Dungeon Crawler with survival elements. It's made for hardcore gamers and fans of 80s and 90s cRPG.
It's the spiritual successor of The 7th Circle. Unlike its predecessor, Inferno - Beyond The 7th Circle has a more "classic" approach to the Dungeon Crawler genre: you can now save and load the game when you want and if you die you can just reload your last saved game. Also, there are plenty of new contents: more items, more skills, more spells, more tasks, quests and lot of resources to find.

An excellent traditional dungeon crawler. It adds a bunch of interesting new mechanics like various survival mechanics, and a unique spell system, the combat system is also quite original. There's a lot of depth here and a lot of systems to play around with. The highlight is the vibes and especially the weird n gruesome monster designs. If you are interested in crawling some dungeons, this game is one of the best modern interpretations of the genre.5 found this helpful

I am a university professor, game developer, and 4X TBS game enthusiast. I have played, developed, collaborated on, playtested, analyzed, written about, and searched for turn-based games most of my life. I found this game after carefully reviewing countless YouTube videos, asking friends, and consulting Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini. I wrote this report after 25 hours of gameplay and finishing my first 3 games. This game is a mixed bag of good and bad, but overall, I don't recommend it. The good: A new turn-based RPG for modern computers, which is rare. Several innovative features. I have not found any bugs or performance problems yet. The bad: The battles' degree of freedom is too low. Not enough actions to choose from. Battles are repetitive and tend to feel similar. Few monsters, they always come one at a time, and movement is only forward or backward on just 7 slots to stand on. No probability of success is displayed for critical actions, such as Flee. Also, the rules are unclear about this and other things. Battle outcomes and lockpicking outcomes are too random, which almost certainly means frequent reloads that defeat the purpose of an RPG. Fun dungeon crawler. I love the complex mechanics, I had to do some homework to ensure that I understood how everything works. The only down-side to this game is the static art, it looks great, but it did not help with the Immersion.
