About Inferno Protocol

✦ AI summary

Inferno Protocol is a co-op survival horror where you navigate an ever-shifting underground maze with up to 5 other players, marking walls and harvesting fallen creatures to craft weapons and gear while uncovering the fates of those who came before. What sets it apart is a living, breathing labyrinth that actively rearranges itself, forcing you to rely on memory and intuition rather than maps, all while discovering mysterious unlabeled syringes that might save you or fundamentally alter who you are.

A survival horror set in a massive maze. Play solo or 6-player co-op. Scavenge resources to craft gear and survive against terrifying enemies. Unlock unique abilities and find the exit.

✦ AI summary

Inferno Protocol shows promise as an ambitious survival dungeon crawler with great atmosphere and developer commitment to improvement, but players note it feels released too early with bugs, unclear progression systems, and frustrating design choices like unavoidable toxic areas without protection and enemies that require excessive hits to defeat.

honestly an underrated game asf, its fun, time consuming and i love the unpredictability and the fact that there's no guides or wiki or anythin etc, u just walk into it and have fun, u explore and try to figure out game mechanics, the whole DNA and syringes with abilities is fun as well, needs some tweaking with the UI and the actual thing u craft them on, the mixer etc. honestly cant wait for updates etc.

It's a half-baked game, it has a potential but the game has no clear direction at all. You finish 2 mazes and that is it. It doesn't tell us it's early-access but this game has only 2 biomes/mazes. The graphics are okay and the atmosphere is immersive at least. the dev really needs to add clear direction and meaningful skill tree system to keep players hooked for a bit.

we did naked runs and seen basically how far wed get each run, we sure tried to find our way out, but there was no freaking chance, ran into a lot of cool things i wont spoil, learning the maze is brutally hard to learn where youve been, and when it resets over night, i didnt really understand what was happening or what level i was on, if i even left that level at all, its such a big confusing map this is all good things though, it really made me feel like the maze runner movie, it gave a vibe i never imagined i could experience in a game, we beat some pretty cool things up, we sustained our runs for a while as well, and very interesting mechanics hopefully they keep expanding all aspects it did feel early access but with good development this game could be one of the best pve games, its so hard to find your way back, but use your note pad theres 6 pages?

Didn't expect much going in, but it was actually a really fun experience. The atmosphere is creepy, the gameplay gets chaotic, and playing with friends makes everything ten times more entertaining. There's enough here to make the whole experience worth it. Definitely worth trying if you are into coop horror.
