inFINIte Robotics

The idea is cool. The game could definitely use a Graphics & Grammar update, and the writing could use some changes in the story department. I'd like to see more puzzles, give the player more to do than just powering light-bulbs and building basic circuits, and a longer story would be nice. Might want to include more/better explanations as well as progressively more difficult puzzles. If I had to guess, the game is originally in Chinese and you don't have someone dedicated to translations which would explain why a lot of the sentences feel out of place. If the developer sees this review, I would be willing to help sort out the English, with no cost of course. Overall, I really like the idea of this game. I think it has a large deal of potential.

When playing through this game I was so overwhelmed with how much stuff there is about electronics It felt like If I was at school again but I was learning being an Engineer instead of Textile Designer. It's pretty nice Visual Novel with a lot of references to different kinds of anime and even games. Classic getting hit by Truck-Kun. xdd I really like how the dev drew all the artwork which was used for this game but at the same time I have a question. Does the dev have DeviantArt by any chance?

"inFINIte Robotics" is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This garbage Ren'Py e-book has a couple of puzzles (so basically get your 2B pencil out and fill out the maze section at the back of the book), and of course the rest of it is your usual garbage high school anime club dropout fan-fiction writing. Of special note is the "art" drawings that accompany the text, which look like they were done by a 6 year old. This was slapped together with the godawful Ren'Py visual novel construction kit... enabling terrible authors to publish books as if they were games when otherwise we might have been spared the pollution. A barebones plot and frankly unbelievable amount of grammatical errors makes inFINIte Robotics a frustrating experience and diminishes any educational value it may have. The story follows Niko, a university student studying electrical engineering. One day, he wakes up late for class and, as he is crossing a street, he's hit by a truck and transported to a fantasy world that previously used electronics, but is now dominated by magic. Upon his arrival in this world, Niko makes his way to an adventuring guild and is assigned the role of engineer, so he meets with one of the town's few engineers. That engineer has some electronics he doesn't know how to use, so then and throughout the story, Niko must explain (both to the characters and the audience) and use his knowledge of electrical engineering to revive the lost art of electronics. One of inFINIte Robotics's selling points is that it introduces readers unfamiliar with electrical engineering to basic concepts from the field through the frame of an Isekai story.
