Instants is perfectly priced for what you get. It’s a casual and relaxing scrapbooking game mixed with light puzzle elements where you organize scrambled family photos into the correct order of events. It’s a simple idea, but it works really well and stays satisfying throughout the game. There’s also a wholesome story that slowly unfolds as you play, which gave me more motivation to keep going besides just decorating pages. The puzzles start out very easy and slowly become a little more challenging over time without ever becoming frustrating. I also liked that each chapter rewards you with more decorations for your scrapbook, and you earn coins to customize your scrapbooking area with different items. This honestly feels like the kind of game that’s best played slowly over a couple of weeks whenever you want something calm, creative, and low-stress to unwind with.

I'm not the one who has decorated every page. But I really like how the story has been told through pictures. Simple and effective.

This is a really gorgeous game - beautifully designed, and putting the photos into the right chronology is a satisfying puzzle. The UI and the audio effects are really satisfying, and the soundtrack is gentle and not intrusive. The emotional narrative comes in very subtly, but by the end of the game I cried and felt really invested in all of the characters. The act of making a scrapbook about and for them really prompted me to imagine them and my relationship to them. I was really pleasantly surprised by the multiracial and queer elements, which all felt very real and intentional and done with a lot of care. I'm a queer woman and I don't have contact with my family, but playing this game helped me imagine what it would be like to be surrounded by so much love. Thank you.

This is such a cozy, relaxing game! Discovered it during the 2026 International Women's Day sale and I'm very glad I did! The puzzles and virtual artwork are fun to work through, and I loved unraveling the sweet, heartwarming story as I progressed through each chapter. Highly recommend!

For as far as I got it was okay. A little repetitive when I had to take multiple photo's from the envelope. And then it crashed on me. I think this game is best bought on sale. If you enjoy making srapbooks and just decorating random photo's it's def a game for you.
