Intergalactic Cleaning Squad

I feel slightly rage baited by your title art, I mean I like the uncanny look, reminds me of some game covers from back in the days. It's just a 90 minute clicker game, not a particularly complex one, I guess I just expected a little more grind out of it, something like a hard mode perhaps, or an endless. It does not have any support for replay value, you pretty much done when you finish your 60 minute run, you could try the idle mode, but it's really not that interesting. Perhaps you could have done a little more with the aiming features, it's kinda neat that you have to follow the enemies with the pointer as they try to dodge it, but why not make something where the enemy chargers a slow projectile, and you could choose between hitting the enemy or the projectile, kinda like a bullet-hell clicker hybrid. Otherwise the game is pretty basic, you have 3 characters with various DPS/economy upgrades, most of them are generic stat buffs, but I do like the look of the rockets and such. Maybe you could also use more optional objects to shoot, flying HP packs, buff crates, things like that. I really like the style and look of the game, a bit retro, cheesy dialogue and lots of clicking it even has an auto play mode. It is a short game but a lot of fun, i recommend it!

Some promising elements and an appealing style, but the gameplay is disappointing (either that or there are major gameplay features I am just missing). Feedback between upgrades and a sense of being stronger is almost entirely lacking in both visual feedback and perceived effectiveness. It's unclear that the healing upgrade does anything substantive, for example. Player choice is minimal and seems to have almost no impact, yet the game is missing the sense of growth and progression that makes idle games fun. I hesitated to post this review because I felt like I must be missing something, but after looking around some, I couldn't find any evidence that there's more to it. And if there is more to it but I can't find it despite my best efforts, that's a problem too.
