This game is legit! If you are trying to break into the tech field or are already in the tech field, this game is for you. If you just enjoy IT sims then this game is for you. Best sim game I own - 10/10! Also as an added bonus: Devs are awesome & game gets regular updates.4 found this helpful
I saw this and just had to give it a try. Admittedly I'm hesitant to try games like this because I don't really expect the simulation to actually provide anything that's that realistic. I don't work in IT, but as something of a tech enthusiast and the person who has generally handled tech support for friends and family I think this is realistic enough to be fun for me. In fact, it's so realistic that when I encounter grayed out or missing options in the properties or BIOS that it leaves me feeling completely frustrated. That might sound like a strike against it but if anything I see that as a symbol of how convincing the experience otherwise is. If I did have a problem, it's mainly that the fictional OS in the game looks somewhat like Mac but functions like Windows 10/11, and I'm an annoying Linux nerd who uses Arch. I've barely touched Windows at all since 2022 and using the Terminal feels wrong. I'm curious to see how things progress going forward as I advance through the game. My reputation ATM is level 5 and so far I'm mainly diagnosing connectivity issues, fixing Kyle's TPM settings (they've messed up so many times I've actually bothered to remember his name), reinstalling t…3 found this helpful
