Itsy Bitsy Spider: Vengeance

One must imagine the itsy bitsy spider happy.

The Itsy bitsy spider song left out the part about all the guns. Get to the top of the waterspout and defeat the boss within the time limit! This is a really cool lil' college project, the artstyle is barebones, but kinda great. The levels really make you feel tiny, and the shooting and grappling are generally smooth. (occasionally I'd accidentally grapple INTO a platform and get stuck for a moment, but nothing worse) The only complaint is the combat...which is entirely skippable until the final boss. Because of your movement capabilities you can just...avoid the enemies and run straight to the end showdown. The description says the game is speedrun focused, but the combat being irrelevant kinda defeats the point of it being a shooter....especially with the low time limit practically demanding you keep moving. *Suggestion* This could have used two modes, One with a larger time limit, where a random enemy in each sector holds an item needed to progress, (creating an actual need to fight enemies), and once that mode is cleared, THEN you can have the all-gates-open speedrun mode where you just walk past everybody. ^ all that aside, this is really neat idea, and I enjoyed playin…

I'm not sure if there's any plans to maintain this or do any sort of followup since it seems to be a school project but i love the concept and the warping camera and i wish there was more polish on this.

the in-game volume slider didnt do anything, and the main menu one made the music inaudible at about 80%, but still loud as hell at 100% other than that, no complaints 10/10

10/10 i love this game although very graphic intensive it truely has changed my outlook on life. The spiders motivation to keep on going and the hardships the spider had to face was one of the most emotional moments of my life i truely think this game is the greatest game to ever produce. At first i thought it would be a goofy game but the message held within was one of the things that keep me moving untill today, if this game wasnt made i wouldnt have been here i might have been not playing this game but fate has it ways and all the odds were in my favour and god blessed me with this masterpiece. this game was the potential to rival games like red dead redemption 2, grand thief auto 5, god of war, minecraft, fortnite, ultrakill, hollowknight, celeste, and even terraria. the story telling and the designs of the charcter was truly a blessing to my eyes, the voice lines were magnificent my favourite being then the main spider said ``its time to get my revenge, MY ITSY BITSY SPIDER VENGEANCE``. the way it was said was so beautiful and i must say if new content is ever added i will pay up tp 1000000000$ x 0 to play it Justin Verhoog, Abby Teare, Parker Railton, Tommy McMillian, Jesse…
