IxSHE Tell is praised for its hilarious and over-the-top common route where multiple heroines compete for the protagonist's attention, with reviewers enjoying the absurd comedy and wacky scenarios even if they don't typically like comedy VNs. However, players note that individual heroine routes become more conventional romantic stories with significant filler content, and some find the character archetypes (tsunderes, childhood friends, etc.) and relationship dynamics tropey or unappealing, making the common route the clear highlight for most players.
IxSHE Tell is a romantic comedy about a popular student council president who's chased not only by the five main heroines, but by all the girls in the school. As you can probably tell from the ridiculous premise, this VN primarily focuses on its absurd over-the-top comedy. Even as somebody who usually doesn't like comedy, I ended up enjoying this VN quite a bit. The common route is great. That's where all the heroines try to one-up each other, in an attempt to stand out, and all the wacky scenarios that happen as a result. It's easily the most unique and enjoyable part of the VN. Once you pick a heroine, it becomes your typical romance story. Each route consists of mostly filler until the final moments, so it may be worth it to just do your favorite(s). For me personally, I really enjoyed the VN due to the common route and my favorite heroine's route, even if going through the other routes was kind of a drag. I think most people who like romantic comedies will have a similar experience.2 found this helpful
I will say this VN is great, yes it has flaws yes but it is a near perfect VN in my eyes so if your thinking of getting it, go for it. A enjoyable story awaits.1 found this helpful

I am comfortable reviewing IxSHE Tell (Aishiteru) relatively early because I don’t think I intend to completely finish this one. This is the baseline for what a romcom VN should be. Very lighthearted and very funny. There are some really wacky characters and it’s all pretty over the top. You’re not going to get much of value out of it but it’s enjoyable, good brain off content when you need to decompress. I’ll be honest, only one romance option is at all interesting for me in this. It’s definitely made for a different audience than me. The tsundere/gap moe bully senpai, the antisocial childhood friend, the pining underclassman, and the tsundere president all just seem like kinda toxic grounds for a relationship. The estranged childhood friend while overbearing seems the most level headed of them all and has some actual romantic development in the common route. The TL sacrifices accuracy for embellishment at points, and usually I think that’s a good thing, but this one takes it just a little too far and adds or changes the meaning that wasn’t there in the original. It’s really obvious when the VA is saying only a couple words but a full on paragraph shows up in the textbox. Th…
Shiori the best romance IMO. However, what made this game great for me is Aoba and her comedic lines LOL! Moka is also super kawaii!
A really good romcom VN. As the description said, the common route was about romance on which heroine you want to date. But after you managed to date the heroine, the stories will be about the character growth for heroine. How they overcame their complex, their flaw, and problems that happened to them. It's nice seeing each heroine maturing in their own ways. My impressions for each heroine after finished their route: Kasumi story was okay. It's just her character as a person that I don't really like. This is just personal preferences. If I have to compliment, the VA did a great job on the last part of her route. Yui story was good because she already act matured for her own age. There's not much to show. Her complex was quite funny though. Got a good smirk/laugh there. Shiori route screamed romcom all the way to end. The progress of her story was quite smooth too. Also her route has a really good way to end the story. So you can play her route last if you want to end it with a bang. Yoshino and Ayaka route definitely stand-out in character growth department. I really like these two route a lot. Enough said.
