Warhammer: Vermintide 2

I got this game and loved the bloody, medieval atmosphere, I especially love rpgs with this kind of vibe, fewer fiddly little details to worry about and more actual combat. I was hooked for a while, met a lot of cool people, and grew a bit attached to Kerillian and Krub. Overall, it's a good game; it's worth buying some of the map expansions, like the one with the well, and the lobby also has interesting details.

If you have been looking for a game that reminds you of Lord Of The Rings and didn't get released 2 decades ago, this game is for you. The parallels are right in front of you. You can play as a chad footsoldier (Aragorn), a chud incel witchhunter captain (Boromir), a racist elf (Legolas), a dwarf that is pretty much just Gimli, and a wizard woman (Gandalf). Each of these characters represent 5 classes that each have 3 sub classes and they are all unique especially when you get to the higher difficulties where roles become much more prominent. The game's primary issue is that most people who pick this game up will feel like it is boring and lacks complexity because it starts you on the lowest difficulty which I think my dead grandparents could complete on their first try. You really have to invest a bit of time (2-3 hours) until you can simply get a high enough power level to unlock the higher difficulties which promotes strategy and utilization of perks and different weapon types (and it gives more XP). I see absolute fools on the internet glaze tf out of Left 4 Dead or Killing Floor and then call this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ which is not only absolutely outrageous to me, but bares an uncanny…
