A very strange game. Lots of cute sweets themed character designs in a story that has a distinct gochiusa-ish, cute-girls-doing-cute-things element to it. Also Cotton and a talking rat appear for some reason. The combo mechanic revolves around the gimmick with jars that have to collide into each other to open, which allows for pretty cool chains if you know what you're doing. Makes for great fun in solo/endless mode. What's a little iffy is the Vs. Mode. what will be a dealbreaker for some is the lack of offsetting (countering the enemy's incoming junk blocks by popping blocks on your field). games like Puyo Puyo have offsetting, and without it, things will feel one-sided if the enemy gets a huge combo on a less skilled player. I do like the idea of the open attack, where you can use blocks on the enemy's side to aid your combos, but in practice doesn't feel very viable. Some might be rubbed the wrong way by the unexpected fanservice element in this game, too. It's nothing too crazy, but everyone has multiple costumes, including swimsuit alts, some of which are unexpectedly horny. It's a small cute little game and the devs delivered bringing it finally to steam. Although would have been nice to get a resolution bump.

As of the time of writing this review, I've played this game for more than 15 hours on my Switch, so, I've gotten pretty decent at it. This game will take a while to get used to but once you know how to stack up stuff to cause chain reactions, it gets really fun! It's no Money Puzzle Exchanger, but still! The game's fun! I still play it every now and then, it's great to play casually. The character artwork and backgrounds in this game are awesome. The beach outfits/swimsuits surprised me (not in a bad way! I was simply surprised that these are in the game in the first place), the artists did a good job with them too. And the Live2D animations are great too, very fluffy. I think the only gripes I have with the game is that you can't seem to fight away the junk/black cat pieces before they fill your board (like what Puyo Puyo does). This is an actually excellent match-3 arcade puzzler that more people should try out. Unfortunately, it's not made for PC. Controls can't be changed on keyboard, your only way to exit is ALT+F4. The CPU sometimes has dubious AI, making some victories seem like it's purely based on luck. Endless mode is very fun. Nothing bad to say about it. Figuring out how to properly chain jars beyond 20 combo is going to take a lot of time and practice, as will surviving long enough to get every block type. However, if you can get a game going, the PVP is really interesting. As opposed to its cousins in the same genre, you're able to directly steal blocks from the opponent's side and convert it to your own attack, giving it a intense strategic layer beyond the speed and chains you're going for. The reason for this is that I think they're having an eating contest and you're eating the opponent's pieces alongside your own, which I find to be an incredibly funny detail beyond just being a gimmick. Yeah it's a very cute arcade puzzle game. I already have it on switch but it's really nice to be able to play it on pc as well. I like the sound effects and the little puffs that appear when you put down the blocks. I like the chain mechanic that includes breaking the jars as part of the chain. The scoring system is very stoic - it doesn't reward clearing lots of blocks in one action (i.e., no puyo-esque "hellfire" configurations), so you need to really focus on the chaining (but you can still get chains without planning too much). I like how the solo mode lasts about 10 minutes unless you're really, *immensely* good - it's a very nice session length. It takes a bit of time to get used to how jars break and how they set of a chain reaction to break any other jars in their neighbouring 8 spaces (including diagonals, and any jars broken in this way will go on to break jars next to them, and so on), but it's fun once you get the knack of it. Also the "open" mechanic that takes away the barrier between your playfield and the opponent's (letting you make chains using *their* dropped pieces) is very rude and I adore it.
