fun, boss fights only the two tracks by The Toxic Avenger are the greatest takeaway from this game1 found this helpful
A guy walks through beautiful scenery while a rave furry monologues at him while not actually communicating anything until you get to some weirdo who wants to kill you and you fight to the death to the sound of Fr*nch techo. And it ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
The way the music and visuals flood your brain with intensity and a need to lock in on each boss fight, forcing you into the flow state and challenging you to master your dashes and parries, has never quite been replicated by any other game.
Beat this game for the 6th time now after playing it five other times on playstation and am going for the seventh time on furier but this game is completely worth it to play and easy to 100% Amazing game.
I thought this would be super fast hack and slash awesomeness, but it's actually a really slow, clunky and boring Bloodborne clone with the all too familiar low poly visual aesthetic. Infuriatingly difficult for the sake of it. I'm pretty sure there won't even be much of a payoff for all the controller-breaking Furi (hah!) one would have to endure to play this. Another fish in the large sea of such games. Thanks, From Software, for your contribution to gaming.
I have not beaten it on PC, however I do have a sizeable playthrough on PSN. This game is a short, interesting take on bullet hell. It's story isn't a 10/10, but it's gameplay for a game nearly a decade old, it shines through the mold. I'm surprised it has as few steam reviews it does, more people have probably heard this game's soundtrack instead of playing it. And it's a shame. Support these developers, and if you're on the edge, a sale is 100% worth it even if it may be a little out of the price range if you're a deal hunter.
