One of the BEST and most memorable soundtracks ever! The storytelling with the bosses and cutscenes can be very emotional and is solid. The gameplay is something... not for me and bad without a controller but I can still appreciate it.
Absolutely worth playing if you can nab it on sale Fun combat loop with neat hp regen mechanics, good story, awesome looking characters, and the coolest soundtrack ever
It was pretty meh. The gameplay was sometimes awesome and sometimes it sucked. The fights were pretty good, but inbetween bosses feel like a walking simulator. The cinematics and the animations were sometimes good, sometimes absolutely horrible lmao. The guy literally shifts gravity instead of like... Stepping with an angle sometimes. I LOVED the character designs though. And the music ooh my god that valkyries music was SOOO GOOOODDD I guess in a nutshell, if immersion is a big factor for you, this game isn't for you probably. I would say "Disco is Dead" is better and kinda? similar. Its crazy how much they improved after this game though. I LOVE Cairn.
