This Nightmare Edition ramps up the challenge with a punishing difficulty mode that strips away easy finishers and demands precision headshots and tactical bursts, while Theater Mode and exclusive content deepen the twisted story.
Exclusive Features for Nightmare Edition:
- New difficulty mode called Nightmare Mode. In this mode, enemies can only be defeated using the following attacks: Adrenaline Burst, Dodge Burst, Headshots, so the gameplay requires far more skill and tactics. Players will not be able to use the Final Judgement finisher (QTE mode) to defeat enemies.
- Theater Mode - Rewatch cutscenes and get extended background information on characters, helping to unravel the story after your 1st playthrough
- Smooth Operator Pack for console will be included, which includes X-ray glasses, bewitching outfits, stunning beauties, and a killer new mission and boss!

Players praise the game's fun gameplay and visual appeal, but consistently criticize a poorly optimized port that suffers from crashes, framerate locks, and technical issues requiring manual fixes to play properly. Additional complaints include impossibly difficult quick-time events, slow animations that cause unfair deaths, and a very short campaign length.
Please everyone go to pcgamingwiki and follow the steps to increase the framerate to 144fps and prevent crashing issues. This game is really great and although the port is horrible, it is fixable!!5 found this helpful
Confirming other reviews, keeps crashing locked to 1080p and 30 fps. Unfortunately the port is garbage

maybe this is happiness?
wish i could recommend but this game is genuinely impossible. maybe i'm just bad at it but the clicking qtes are all impossible (only an autoclicker could complete them.) it has crashes that stop you even playing the game if you don't manually fix things (thank you pcgamingwiki) and painfully slow animations that constantly get you killed. it's fun if you ignore all of these things and you hate yourself. only buy if you're prepared
You never know what's happening. Don't worry about it. Just Hack & slash. Its fun, and looks good. (Might need to look for fixes tho). Get it, play it, and never think about it ever again.
