Nightdive Studios and Ziggurat Interactive have teamed up to bring back this sophisticated shooter laced with gallows humor and visual violence to bestow mayhem to all! Puzzle solving and strategic thinking are placed at a premium. The visceral violence is complemented by paranormal graphics and a super(natural) storyline.Set in the early 1930s, Killing Time: Resurrected casts you as a student, studying the cryptic world of Egyptology, who finds themselves trapped in the estate of wealthy heiress Tess Conway. A ritual to bestow eternal life conducted by Ms. Conway backfires and her high-society friends vanish without a trace. It’s up to you to find and destroy the mystical Egyptian Water-Clock to undo its curse and face a legion of super(natural) horrors.
The remastered edition of Killing Time: Resurrected features toggleable high-resolution character artwork/sprites from the original 3DO and PC versions of the game, upscaled environmental texturing, smoother gameplay, more responsive controls, and expanded control and key-bind settings.

[h2]Nightdive Studios Killed It Again! Great Remaster![/h2] I had never even heard of this game growing up, but if I had played it back then, I probably would have loved it just as much, if not more than I do now. This appears to be another solid remaster from Nightdive Studios. You can even disable the HD textures if you want a more authentic retro look, but I prefer the HD version. What really surprised me was the use of FMV throughout the game. FMV was everywhere in 90s light gun games, but I had no idea there was an FPS that used it this extensively. It's a weird combination, but it works, and it's still pretty cool even today. The island is packed with an absurd amount of enemies, which makes combat a blast. The music is not that bad, I actually enjoy it. If you have not played this in a past life or love retro shooters. I highly recommend to kill stuff in the game, Killing Time. A short but awesome classic FPS that feels like a mixture of Doom and Realms Of The Haunting (If you don't know what that game is, it is 100% worth checking out). The remastered sprites and textures are all very crisp, and the pre rendered live action scenes look ok for what they had to work with. Game also runs flawlessly. The music is amazing, but a few tracks are completely out of place in a zone or two, especially the Arboretum. Not much enemy variety, and you get swamped with the same half dozen or so sprites throughout the game. The game is short enough that this doesn't really get stale before the game is over. It comes to no surprise that Nightdive Studios once again did an astounding job with this game, and I had a great time with it. Definitely Recommended.
This is my favorite boomer shooter, hands down! I never thought I could find so much joy in a boomer shooter, most of them are just violent slogs of gory mayhem, but this was so cool! Don't let the strange mish mash of enemies and levels deter you, this is a fun game through and through. 10/10, one of the most fun FPS games I've ever played.
A fun hidden gem of an FPS from the 1990's. Worth the price, easily.
Doom meets The 7th Guest. Do you enjoy Doom, and are you old enough to remember when all shooters were called Doom-clones? Killing Time is essentially a very elaborate Doom WAD with fantastic, cheesy live action elements. I wouldn't call it a "hidden gem," but for ten bucks, I had a blast playing a game I never had a chance to get ahold of as a kid (because who the hell owned a 3DO?).
Great fun! The game flows so naturally, I only looked up a guide when I missed an important item.
