Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris

I’m only impressed because it’s a game released by predominantly one person. That being said, this should have stayed in early access because it was a frustrating disappointment, only because it looked so promising. For a game that is a first-person melee fantasy, the combat was paper thin. Floaty, with one, maybe two different swing animations, and blocking is pointless once you realize how broken the dodge is. From then on, combat is trivial. Dodge, slash, dodge, slash, ad nauseum. There’s no shield, no kick, no parry; might as well been a point and click adventure. Throw in some crashes and bugs, and a restart system that occasionally resets progress, and you’re in a world of hurt. However, probably the biggest sin this game commits, is the lighting, or lack thereof. This game was way too dark, and the eye-strain is real. 2/5 kings.

This game has two major problems: It takes itself too seriously, and it still feels extremely unfinished. I got stuck in a wall within the first 15 minutes.

Don't be fooled, the people who made Quantum Error made this. Stay away.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. Really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ metal. Great cinematics. Chunkiest combat I've ever experienced. 10/10 PLay it.
