This is an interesting little free game. You navigate through hand-drawn scenes using arrows and search for a few missing items, but the gameplay isn't really what stood out to me. It's the art. Nothing looks "perfect." It's messy, scribbled, childlike, and honestly a little odd-looking sometimes, but that's what gives the game its personality. It's short, simple, free, and weirdly charming. Worth having in your library just to experience it.

Kitten Adventures in City Park is a really small point and click adventure where I play as a little kitten trying to find things that my owner accidentally left around the park. The whole game is built around exploring the park, remembering where I saw certain objects and talking to the little animals that are using them. It is very simple, but I actually like the relaxed idea behind it. There are no enemies, no difficult controls and nothing trying to rush me. I can just wander around, look at the drawings and work out how to get everything back. The memory idea is what makes it a little more interesting than a normal hidden object game. I sometimes have to remember where I saw something earlier instead of simply clicking through every part of the screen until I find it. If another animal has picked up the item, I might also have to find something else to trade for it. I like these little fetch quests because they give me a reason to pay attention to what is happening around the park instead of just looking for highlighted objects. I give this game all the praise in the world for being a comfy and simple game for kids ages 3-9 years old to enjoy... but playing this as an adult is weird. It's too simple and too easy. I got halfway through it in 3 minutes. The voice acting is definitely targeted toward young children. The cat sounds like a Sesame Street character, which isn't a bad thing... it's just not for me. I recommend it to young kids or a parent who wants to introduce their kids to games.
