KRUNCH is a quick-reflex game about escaping, survival and the fear of being closed-in where you play as one of six Krons (mechanical orb-like entities) trapped in a seemingly abandoned fortress. Good little game for what it is. Race around, collect krebs, die a lot. Some of the achievements are fairly bad (and one is broken), but it's good overall.
When you have no Idea what to play, you can play KRUNCH. Got it from a Surprise Pack.
Tags: Casual - Runner Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Nice NES aesthetic. However movement not granular enough and precision requirements too high. Recommend you try Celeste instead for same escape death chasing you concept with better execution. http://store.steampowered.com/app/504230/Celeste/ As I said the margins that allow progression can be very tight, sometimes on a diagonal angle, and with foreground elements obstructing view. The sprite for the main character needs a bit of momentum to get to full speed and loses a bit of momentum before coming to full stop. Additionally hitting any wall, foe or gears will cause you to recoil backwards sometimes stun-locking you into position until death catches up to you. I finished the first world and based on the screenshots on the store every other world seem to be a recolor of the same basic assets which is a tad disappointing. There was one instance where the game progressed me to the next level without me completing it first, perhaps due to a bug.
