Ktrl Smash is a simple multiplayer arena brawler that is mostly about getting into a match and causing as much chaos as possible before the timer runs out. I pick a fighter, run around a bright 3D arena and grab whatever weapons I can find. Bats, baseballs and chairs can all be used to attack, which gives the game a silly feeling that I think suits it pretty well. The main goal is straightforward because I am just trying to finish with the most kills, so I never have to spend much time figuring out what I am supposed to be doing. The weapon system is probably the part I enjoy most. I like that I am not limited to one normal attack and can quickly pick something up and change how I approach a fight. The arena also has speed, damage and health boosts, so there is usually a reason to move around instead of staying in one place. Going after a useful boost can be just as important as chasing another kill, especially when I need a bit of extra speed or health to turn a bad situation around. The matches are also nice and quick.
