About Labyrinth Hearts

Labyrinth Hearts

Labyrinth Hearts is a single-player GACHA game that captures the GACHA experience without pay-walls (to progress), ads, or risk of GACHA addiction. It utilizes a side-scrolling battle system, with dialogue and battle events throughout the game. Play through the story mode and train your characters in Skirmishes or Quests. In addition, upgrade your town and elemental arenas to enhance your team's power.

A typical play-through has you collecting characters through a summoning/exile system and increase their STAR ranking by befriending them. You gear up in town, clear Skirmishes, and elemental dungeons to increase your team to be able to proceed through the story. The maximum level is 999 and their is no power cap.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my game, and please purchase if you want to support an indie developer's game.

There is a lot to say about this game. But instead of pointing out how unbalanced and unpolished this game is, I'm just gonna say some positive things. There's 90+ characters to recruit. Very simple game with very straight forward mechanics. Lots of gear customization to suit whatever playstyle you want. A good story that's divided into tiny chunks that are easy to read and follow. The joy of gacha without spending your lifetimes income with generally satisfying results. (one day i have my 6* Ifrit) A very friendly developer that asks for your honest feedback that has just released his 1st entry on steam. Honestly give the game a try, it's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cheap that even if you don't like it you won't regret it. Be sure to visit the community tab and leave your own feedback. In best regards, Saki Kazue.

Labyrinth Hearts is an RPGMaker MV game that takes after gacha RPG mobile games in terms of most of its design, from having randomly acquired characters which can include story enemies multiple chapters before you meet them, to presenting a barrage of things to do, many of which come down to "grind up this one specific thing." As a result, much like the majority of those games, it's rather mechanics-focused, with the story mostly just kind of being there. Unfortunately, that's where the big problem starts even for people who think gacha RPGs are usually well-designed: the mechanics in Labyrinth Hearts are bad and broken. The most notable bug not in your favor is that characters can be recruited at any rarity from 1 to 5 stars, but also you can upgrade them yourself, too... in theory. Unfortunately, the items needed to upgrade characters actually don't exist in the game, so that part of it just doesn't function, and neither does the supposed marriage system. On the other hand, the most notable bug in your favor is that item customization retains the upgrades even after the upgrade item is removed, meaning you can just shoot all of your stats off to infinity pretty quickly. And so …

You can tell this is a small project crafted from a labor of love. The asking price is so low its hardly even a risk trying it out. If you are a fan of the old school 8 bit rpgs then this waifu collection sim is a treat for you. I'm a few hours in but I can already tell I'm going to enjoy this one.

This game has a lot of good potential too bad is buggy, freezes and crashes , team members for some odd reason, even if in party, still show off on other areas. Controller and keyboard crash not worth the hassle.

RPG maker Gacha simulation game sure sounds fresh, but does it actually function well? Labirynth Hearts sounds like an ambitious project, or at least attempting to be one. What we have here is a linear story, numerous characters to recruit, raids, treasure hunting, exploration, shop upgrades, level grinding, etc. On paper, there are more than plenty of things to do and try. However, upon closer scrutiny, everything seems underwhelming, incomplete, or broken. First, after a brief introduction you end up in a secret hideout comprising of a few buildings situated on one map, and the only exit opens a window with several options. Yes, there is only one location other than dungeons to see here. The aforementioned options when you try to exit present you with six choices: story, treasure hunt, skirmishes, the labyrinth, raid, and nevermind(cancel). The story and enemy encounters are delivered through the line of dots. When stepped on, the green dots trigger a brief story event, and the red ones equal a fight. There are no story forks, so the adventure is linear. Also, all scenes are short and badly written/translated. Only the main characters have some backstories, but they're all very…
