About Laika 2.0 - Sekret Pravda

Laika 2.0 - Sekret Pravda is here, with improved features and new contents to make your spy chimpanzee missions funnier than ever!

Completely new ending, more phatos, more depth...maybe even more bananas?
Completely reworked and improved dialogues, both english and italian versions
Mixed fixes and improvements to make the entire experience a 2.0 esperience!

Laika 1.0 was not a success. You, Laika 2.0, are.

As Laika 2.0 you'll experience the life of a special biologically enhanced KGB chimpanzee agent.
You'll need to avoid enemies, solve puzzles and dodge deadly traps along the way, in a beautiful environment mixed with an appealing graphic.
You'll need to push yourself to the limit if you want to get to the end of your mission...alive.
Everything and everyone wants to kill you because there are things that should never be let out of their box.

Move silently to uncover all the mysteries of the Ogdoade in an extremely complex spy story.
Just when you feel you are close to the solution, everything will start looking weird again, only to find yourself in an even deeper slump.
Do you have what it takes to defeat the terrorists of the Ogdoade? Will you be able to succeed?

The game is level based and every level is a composition of several revisitable rooms.
The player's goal in each level is to achieve an objective, getting through the puzzles that separates a room from the other one, where the objective can be achieved.
Also, objectives can be complex, consisting of two or three sub-objectives.
Furthermore, every level has a special puzzle room, like a sort of "boss fight".
Laika 2.0 - Sekret Pravda doesn't need more than one difficulty mode, as every level is made to be harder than the previous one. You will see it!

Very nice retro platformer, but very frustrating in the end because of broken controls. Character is sliding all over the place, there is no sensivity setting or deadzone for joypad. Sometimes you will catch wall, sometimes not. Another stupid thing is that you cant push buttons when moving or jumping. I really dont mind dying literally hundreds times because of this, but level on the airplane requires insane amount of precision. Levels 1-8 are OK, last two are really hardcore, I've spent two hours of playing each one of them. And of course there is no save option in level itself. A shame, because art and music are very good for an oldschool platformer. I bet that this whole joypad problem is caused by used game engine, but broken controls take out most of the fun in such a game.

Offered by a friend to try it out because loved of the pixel art and the story. PRO - Challenging gameplay, but fun. - Lights and level are awesome - Music is even better CON - Would have loved more story involved. - Later gets REALLY hard. - I DEMAND the soundtrack to be somewhere for listening or download.

Just completed level 2 and definitely enjoying this game. It's a stealth/platform/puzzle game that will test both your reflexes and your brain. The graphic style is quite interesting and original, harkening back to old ZX Spectrum-like aesthetic, with an interesting lighting system. Gameplay-wise, it might be argued that the game becomes a bit frustrating/taxing even in the second level, but it never feels unfair, just more challenging than the average. Controls are not perfect, but are better with the d-pad rather than with the analog stick. Overall I definitely do reccomend this game. It's a pity it went mostly ignored at launch. Don't miss it if you ever catch it on sale!

I love this game, is a platformer but it has stealth-elements (I like them). I like the minimal graphic in pixel art but there it could better developed. The sound is fantastic, specifically the music of level 2 and level 9. The level are OK but some are too long and too difficult (this is important because you DON’T save during level). Good!!
