This looks like a real, genuine tower defense game, but it's not... the generic TD veneer plastered over the cash shop here is shallow, uninteresting, and of course can't be negotiated without all the demands from the mobile devs to hand over your money. Appalling, isn't it? It's also quite buggy, it's very likely you won't be able to get this to launch at all, depending on the state of the servers... because of course with the cash shop, this is a "live service" mobile app. Ugh. There's only a superficial game here. The game visuals and the game itself are incredibly shallow... think of them as the too-bright, colourful, thin plastic cabinet dress theme on a poker machine at the casino. Something about this game is very engaging when you actually play it and coming back to it is tough when most other games you play are either more mainstream or just more of something else you prefer to play. So you sort of have to give this game a chance to grow on you because it's a lot like playing a mobile game. It's a mix of an ARPG with tactical tower defense strategically upgrading and investing a lot of time hacking and slashing until you figure out how to survive the waves. The controls take some time to get used to since once again the game feels designed for a mobile device. No clue when I'll play again but I've played the game twice in exactly 1 year for 10 minutes each time and died within the last couple waves and just didn't feel like playing anymore but I will say that it's still surprisingly fun when I do play it. It's finding the time versus playing other games I own that makes it tough to keep playing. Gonna go 7/10 on this one because I just feel like if I invested more time into it that's the overall score I'd give it. Something about it is just fun, mostly the challenge of figuring it out in general.

it works very well, and is highly skill based, if your laptop has bad keyboard, get good external one, thats no excuse, even with bad default keyboard you should do just fine. game has extensive tutorial and sufficient upgrade and healing system to grant great success even through bossfights! having movable hero that can cut into enemies earlier and between towers adds unique and freeing aspect to it.
