Last Stand: Defense is a strategy-focused survival game developed by ZiiTech Games and published by ZiiTech Games in partnership with Yuettegames. Barely a recommendation but a recommendaiton notheless. Good basic game fundamentals, reasonable set of missions and nice upgrade path. Two key issues. First, balance is a problem. I found the game very challenging to start, and had to grind a bit. However after a few key unlocks, it then became too easy. Other issue is the english translation is poor and some upgrades you have to try to figure out what they actually do.

There’s a lot of strategic depth in choosing buildings, units, and upgrades. Different playstyles are viable, from defensive bunker strategies to aggressive unit-based combat. However, some units and structures feel underpowered, and balancing could be improved.

A terrible game. The game goes highly depends on luck.

The dark, gritty visuals and immersive sound design really capture the feeling of a desperate last stand against monstrous invaders. The tension at night when enemies swarm in is fantastic. That said, some UI elements feel a bit clunky and could use more polish.

I enjoyed the game and it has very good value when its on sale
