I thought Lemon was just another simple game about a fruit that I'd play for a few minutes and forget about. I was wrong. The graphics are simple. The gameplay is simple. And at the center of it all is a lemon. Just a lemon. But somewhere along the way, I stopped asking why. I started caring. There's something strangely satisfying about watching the numbers go up, making progress, unlocking upgrades, and slowly turning one innocent lemon into something far more powerful than it ever had any right to be. The game doesn't need a massive story. It doesn't need complicated mechanics. It gives you a lemon. You click it. And somehow, that's enough. I've played games with bigger worlds, better graphics, and far more content. I don't remember most of them. I'll remember the lemon. Some games are fun while you're playing them. Lemon makes you realize that apparently, I am willing to dedicate an unreasonable amount of time to a citrus fruit. 100% recommended.
