LightFall has all the vibes of a flash game I would find on Kongregate, and I do mean it as a compliment. It's a platformer with stages, rather than one connected world; it has movement like you're constantly on ice, but it's easy to get used to it; there's plenty of small hidden challenges and lore so that's nice... But I do have to take offense at "The Ultimate Freedom" point of game description since that's just blatantly not true with how linear this game is. But hey, it's a nice four hours experience, I suppose. Man, I miss flash games.
a great platformer for anyone who likes a challenge, the mechanics are fun and unique.
Good level design, to many death times, but i like this game
My feelings resonate with a few of the other reviewers who do not recommend this game. They put it more eloquently than I can, but here is my summary after only playing for an hour and deciding it wasn't for me: -The art is cute, but the design for the main character clashes with the world in a way that is unappealing. There is also misleading foreground and background design. -I don't enjoy the story-telling, as it felt I was being read a bedtime story. I'd rather get the story through the MC instead of a narrator. -The platformer mechanics are unique, but it wasn't...challenging? I didn't get past the first act (bc I lost interest), but it just felt like there was not going to be challenge progression. It seems I was right based off of other reviews.
Very fun platformer abilities are very fun to use and give tons of mobility! r8 8/9 m8
a beautiful game with a unique gimmick, the story is interesting and the secrets and collectable are challenging, the game is also fun to speedrun
