Lightracer Spark is a good sci-fi visual novel-style game about uplifting alien civilizations, the fate of three very different civilizations, and eventually the fate of the universe. The strongest part of the game is its storytelling. It feels almost like reading a good sci-fi book, but with decisions, consequences, and some light gameplay systems around it. If you are interested in guiding and uplifting alien civilizations, this game is probably for you. The full storyline took me around 17 hours to complete. I did not check different endings or other routes, so I cannot confidently say how meaningful the choices are in the long term, but during the playthrough they felt meaningful enough. I also did not have any real problems with the English translation; it felt fine to me. There is a strategy and management layer, but it is fairly rudimentary and easy. The combat is a bit wacky, mostly because you do not directly control your troops. I ran into an issue where I could not capture the last province because my army kept jumping in and out of it. Peak Deep Scifi, i suggest you play ignition first because it makes the moments hit much harder

Fabulous game, Great Story so far, interesting themes whilst possesing in minimal visuals the style is still distinct and more importantly succinct getting a lot across with text and still images. Worth a try :)
