Rebel Galaxy is a swashbuckling space adventure, with action-packed combat, exploration, discovery, trade, and “negotiation” with the outlandish denizens at the edge of the known universe.
As the commander of an immensely powerful star destroyer, you’ll battle pirates, explore anomalies, befriend aliens, scavenge battle wreckage, mine asteroids, and discover artifacts. Choose your path as a roguish do-gooder, crafty space-trader or power-hungry privateer – or maybe a little of each! Buy larger and more powerful craft with your hard-earned credits, and outfit them with a variety of wicked weapons and defenses. Set in a galaxy of fantastic sights, and secrets to be found, Rebel Galaxy is above all a space epic of adventure, exploration, and combat.

Honestly, it's fairly simple yet great game. Simple enough premise, decent story. Plenty ships, factions and weapons etc. The fact I have completed it multiple times over the years and have this many played hours should say something.3 found this helpful
Nice arcade game .has trading and so on. Difficulty scales with you so the game is always a challenge. Be aware its buggy with steam cloud and you could overwrite your save1 found this helpful
Really enjoyed the mix of space combat, exploration, and trading, with battles that feel both fun and satisfying. The progression is rewarding, and the soundtrack does a great job of setting the atmosphere.
pretty good
This game was a nice find, i'm still flying around the first sector after eight hours; running missions, upgrading my ship and following the story.
A true gameplay gem. Keep in mind there are some bugs, but it's still really fun.
