if you dont do everything perfect and in order from an outsourced walkthrough you will be so bored and confused thats what i call LAZY INCOMPETENT DEVELOPMENT that shouldve just been an video arg so my time is NOT WASTED.

I don't have a problem with horror but I think this game is a hard pill to swallow. The looping is a headache personally and if you don't use a guide you're going to be looping each day multiple times just for one of the secrets. The exploring segments are done well and the dread I felt doing it my first time is still memorable, I think the game does an excellent job with that. Now the things that I really don't like about it... The flashing lights and jump scares in this game are cheap and unnecessary, I shouldn't have to deal with being scared and nauseaus while playing a game and they lose their scare factor by the third day. I think the absolute worst of it is from the word puzzles at the end, your senses are being assaulted by all fronts and I would've just gave up and stopped playing if I wasn't determined to see it through to the end. Lastly I have to say I find it hard to sit through the story, call it me being weak but I find the torture and details of each victim beyond disgusting. Obviously the serial killer is a sick freak and the point is for us to react that way but I think the fact they're given the perfect conditions to do all of these things and get away with it …

A very slow paced little horror game based off of old flash games. It's ok. I'd give it more of a neutral rating if steam allowed it. I'm mixed on the presentation of the overarching story around the characters in the game. It's a bit too over the top with the 'reality' horror footage, almost feeling silly. It also, in some points, feels intentionally vague in a game theory bait sort of way. Some people might be into that, I prefer stories just be fully told in the actual game, but maybe it will all be explained by the end of the series. It can also get pretty repetitive if that bothers you. The game auto saves between specific days/segments, so if you miss something, the only option is starting from scratch.

Very good price for the amount of murder lore given, it starts out sweet as granny's cookies the first couple days then gets gruesome later on. I'm a little curious if this is based off a actual crime or not, its very well written.

Highly recommend! This game had me going until the end! actually peak!
