My friend and I were bad at this game, but we were laughing so hard the whole time. 100% worth it for that. It’s very simplistic, but sometimes that’s all you need. You only need one keyboard and a mouse to play! One player controls the bird with the keyboard, while the other uses the mouse to draw platforms. There are three different colours that each have a different effect, and crayon length is limited. You and your friend need to work together to get the little bird to the end of the level through puzzle solving, platforming, and good communication and timing. Unlike some other games, this doesn’t demand hours of your time and can be played in one sitting. Linebound is a compact cooperative puzzle platformer that builds its identity around an imaginative division of responsibilities between two players. Instead of controlling similar characters with matching abilities, each participant approaches the challenge from an entirely different perspective. One player takes control of Sketch, the character physically traveling through the stages, while the other becomes the Artist, creating platforms and helping shape the route forward. This asymmetric setup makes communication the foundation of the experience and gives even straightforward platforming situations an entertaining cooperative twist. The game was developed by Samuel Luecke, Oliver Svensson, Tristan Berglund, Rayan Jibril-Alakki, Emil Särelind, Kevin Hamberg, and Alex Standh, with FutureBound handling publishing duties. The project has the feel of a deliberately focused indie production, concentrating its resources on one central gameplay concept rather than surrounding it with unnecessary progression systems. My gf and I I rather sweaty tryhards, so we finished the game under 2 hours. Could've gotten a refund if we didn't wait around to play it. Regardless of the length - I like the simple and straightforward challenge, nothing complicated. We had fun studying each level and doing it as best as possible, each taking the part they're best at. Works decently well with a controller for the on-ground controls.

a cute and simple game, pretty challenging near the later stagers. The times are extremely tight if you want the achievements. was fun.
