Fun though controls take getting used too (I was playing on an xbox controller) Hopefully they will get a rework at some point Love the vibes and art style in this, the pixel art and sound design work well. but small head scratchers pop up from time to time such as why do i have to delete my save to save in the same slot? cant i overwrite it with a maybe "are you sure?" prompt but these and the xbox controller controls dont ruin the experience :)4 found this helpful
Pretty game about living the life of a squirrel.3 found this helpful
Id love the play the game, but the UI and Controls are so undecipherable that it just doesnt feel worth it. I cant reccomend at this moment unless the UI and Menus get a full rework with Button Prompts for both Mnk and Controller, clearly displayed on screen. Hell at this point you cant even decipher what any of the Options in the Options menu does without trial and Error. A full Rework of the UI is desperately necessary for this game to thrive1 found this helpful
I might be a dumb as a squirrel. This game has a ton of potential. The style is really unique and just from the first couple minutes of the game I felt that story would be really unique. The big issue is that I could not figure out what the ♥♥♥♥ to actually do. The rabbit told me to be careful at night and to make sure I had firewood. I did find some wood in the small area that I could explore. There was some stuff about needing planks to make bridges and a sled but I couldn't figure out how to make the planks. I also don't know if it was because I am impatient but it never became night so I kind of just explored the same world it put me in and then didn't know what I was supposed to do. I will probably give it another try at some point because I am still interested in what the game has to offer, but time is of the essence. I recommend this if you SQUIRREL!1 found this helpful
Nice game, very cute, is a slow and simple, but very good game Also the contrast of the cute design with the story and all that happens is so good :3
Little Squirrel Cabin, developed and published by LSC Games, is a psychological survival experience that builds its identity around atmosphere and gradual tension rather than constant action. What begins with a seemingly gentle premise—a small squirrel living in a quiet woodland setting—quickly shifts into something far more unsettling. The game leans heavily on contrast, using its initially cozy tone to make the creeping sense of danger feel more pronounced as the environment begins to change in subtle but disturbing ways. The gameplay is centered on exploration and survival, with players navigating a world that becomes increasingly unpredictable over time. Resources are limited, and careful management is essential, as every item collected can make the difference between progressing safely or falling into danger. The presence of a day and night cycle adds structure to the experience, with each new phase introducing changes that can affect both the environment and the threats within it. This evolving world design gives the game a sense of instability, where familiar areas can suddenly feel hostile, encouraging players to remain cautious even in places they have already explored. …
