This story is lighthearted and charming. I admit I bought this otome with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. All the of the characters are likable, I enjoyed reading each route. I loved how campy/corny the story was and it kept my attention for most of the game. Bonus points for the awesome English translation. Only con was the outdated art, but it was not unbearable. Fav route was Watson, but all of them were pretty sweet.

Truth be told it took a bit for me to warm up to this game but I find this game pretty charming. I've only done 2 romance and 2 platonic with my 3rd romantic route probably halfway done but I think this VN's pretty entertaining. I think if you're coming into it expecting a romantic otome game you'll probably be disappointed but I really like a bunch of the cast and though it can be a bit dumb, especially in how Emily can be really frustrating I can't really bring myself to dislike it? It kind of became my daily soaps of thinking "what dumb things is this cast going to go through today?" and sometimes coming out of it going "that was a really solid route!" Watsons route is peak stupidity imo and I started with his route which definitely gave me a bad first impression but Akechi's route and what I played of Holmes so far is really solid. Akechi had some definite flaws as a character in a good way that felt like his blossoming romance with Emily was natural, and I liked that his route wasn't centered purely around just Emily compared to Watsons. Holme's also continues that by it being a lot more plot focused with involvement from most of the cast throughout it and I find the game mo…

I like the game, loved the butler, Watson route, Marple, Lupine were my favorite, Wasn't a fan of jacks and akechi route, akechi is boring, we should have had a different love interest, hated Holmes epilogue, jacks epilogue, akechi epilogue, Loved Watson's and Lupine Epilogue, the butler should have a love interest with a different MC, The white named guy in the grand after should have been a love interest. Hated grand after, Would want to play the second game sad that it ain't coming out, would have loved to see weddings, futures of the MC and her love interest, more stories of the MC and her love interest
