Frequently crashes, couldn't make it past the first raid.

Fun little Beer’n’Pretzels management game, where you lead a team of Viking raiders causing havoc around the British Isles. The core game loop is simple: you have a Viking settlement with a few upgradeable buildings that determine your team’s equipment, recruitable classes and available raid targets. Every month you can raid a settlement within your range (from my current location, these are all in Ireland), at which point your little dudes automatically raid the village, collecting loot off screen while you watch the defenders assembling to block their return path. The raid goes faster if your team have the right mix of classes and skills, meaning a better chance of getting away with the loot. There’s then a very simple RTS where your raid party squares off against the defenders, with the goal being to minimize your side’s injuries as they make off with their ill-gotten gains, which are ploughed back into upgrading your fort. A fun little game of Viking raiding. While it can get a little grindy at times, it's satisfying watching your little band of warriors gain the strength and tools to take on bigger, and more profitable targets.

Edit . Yeah, no, even drunk it's not that amusing. Great effort for a 14 year old's first attempt at a game, worth a dollar or two at the most. To be honest I may have finished playing this game. It wasn't bad. Cool concept, but if there was a skip button that moved you from one decision to another, I would have played for about 10 minutes. Lots of waiting for things to move slowly on the screen, very little in the way of control. I might come back to it if I am wasted and can't handle anything complex, but you want at least a 50% discount to make this worth buying. Two an a half hours is a long time to wait to make a few dozen decisions.

Works fine after revert. No crashes during 8h of gameplay. The base idea is simple, you raid gold, improve buildings and get better equipment. Having vikings of different classes significantly helps your raids, but each class don't seem to have any impact on your hp or damage. You don't get to control your vikings but can only impact the party order and early bail out if things start to go south. The animations are pretty basic, moving images that squirt blood when hit. And dead bodies totally don't match the size of the standing, but just cosmetics. It can get grindy towards the late game as most games do, but there are enough upgrades and management to keep you engaged. One thing that feels missing that there are not really any time pressure in raids and you could do just the easiest risk free raids. The increase in crew upkeep is very minimal. I would like too see more risk-reward curve in harder raids. If you lose one fully upgraded unit, the raid gives you basically nothing so usually the best thing is to only do low or moderate risk raids. The amount of gained loot could increase faster the longer you linger in raid making the point to bail not so obvious. Other thing …
