Lost Orbit isn't the most memorable of adventures. You barrel through its levels quickly, and unless you want to try for faster time trial scores, there's not a lot to come back for. Still, the rush of speed and the simple charms of the animation and narration make this game a blast while it lasts.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…

Just finished the game and here it is folks. This game above anything speaks on a level of Daoism. If you want a game where it makes you question yourself in this universe, please buy this game. The sidekick/narrator has this calm voice that should be giving lectures at a planetarium. The game itself is stunning and it's something that you would want as a free floating mode and just cruise through the cosmos. Onward to the game-play. The control's are what you would expect in a null gravity environment. Remember, you are a spaceman doing an EVA with a single point thrust source. You will have directional lag, so don't expect pin point control. The "warp zones" are everywhere, but that does not mean you have to use them. The walls are hazards, the space is a hazard, everything is a hazard. Everything is trying to kill you, even you are trying to kill you. That's the charm, picture the movie "Gravity"...but better... I will not give away the story, but I will say this about this added feature. The music... If any of you have ever played the game Rochard, the music made it top tier. This game should be talked about more and the music is the X-factor behind it. Some levels, the music m…

Be Warned! this is packaged with the sequel. And they force you to play through this game again before you can play the sequel. Skip this game and buy the sequel if your interested.

What a gem. Everyone who loves fast-paced sci-fi-action with a lovely narrator and incredible music must play this game. Even deaths are not punishing, but encouraging. Sorry, dear devs, that I've waited so long and only bought it for one euro. You clearly should have deserved more. I'll make up for it. Promised.
